Cutting Tools

Cutting masonry materials is easiest with special tools such as the drysaw, brick splitter, and tile cutter shown on the opposite page, bottom. You can rent these tools. You'll need standard carpentry tools for building forms. Always wear safety glasses and gloves when working with masonry materials. A dust mask or respirator will protect you from dust when cutting materials.
